Job brief

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage information technology and computer systems
  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
  • Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes
  • Preserve assets, information security and control structures
  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
  • IT and software vendor management and procurement management
  • Creation and management of IT budget procurement
  • Software and Hardware Installation including Sophos and Cisco networking components
  • Networking Infrastructure Management and Organisation Connectivity and VPN Management
  • Management of Servers, Virtualised Servers, VMs
  • Managing Information Security
  • Monthly Cost and Outcome Analysis

Major Skills:

Good communication skills with strong technical knowledge & Problem solving skills.

Required Skills:

  • Computer Hardware and Software Installation
  • OS Installation - Windows All versions, Ubuntu/RHEL/Centos/Boss Linux all versions, MacOS Catalina/Big Sur/Monterey
  • Email Administration - GSuite/Office 365/Rediffmail/MS Exchange/Zimbra
  • Network and Router Administration - Cisco, Sophos
  • A/V and Intenet Security Administration - Trend Micro, kaspersky
  • VMWare and Virtual Box Administration, Image Snapshotting
  • Exposure to AWS Ec-2 and Microfost Azure
  • Microsoft Active Directory and LDAP Server Administration
  • Disk Cloning and Imaging Technologies
  • General Sense of "What could be NOT working" - keen technical acumen
  • Deep understanding of routing, internal firewall, tunnelling, VPNs and networking
  • Good understanding of file systems both NTFS and extfs and other linux file systems
  • BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field
  • Certifications are welcome

Educational Qualifications:

  • Graduate or postgraduate qualification in sales / marketing.
